We're known as the 'baby' of the Shire family - but there's nothing small about our ambitions. As the first Shire Hotel - opening its doors back in 1980 - we like to think we set the path for our sister hotels to follow.
At 85% we're one of the highested rated AA 2 star hotels in the country, and have held 2 rosettes for coming up to 10 years. With only 23 bedrooms, and a very successful food operation, we're more like a restaurant with rooms.
Our guests travel from far and wide to spend some quiet times in the wonderful Ribble Valley, and we're seen as a haven for the business traveller wanting to escape the urban connurbations of Blackburn, Preston and beyond.
