• Scalable text feature
  Shire Hotels aims to make its websites and information available to as many users as possible. To enhance accessibility we have added a scalable text feature to all Shire Hotels websites. This enables you to increase and decrease the text size on the page by changing your browser's text size settings as follows:
  
  Internet Explorer
  Go to: View > Text Size > Select the appropriate size
  
  Netscape
  Go to: View > Text Zoom > Select the appropriate size
  OR
  Press Ctrl+ on your keypad to increase the text size or Ctrl- to descrese
  
  Mozilla
  Go to: View > Increase/Decrease text size (Ctrl + and Ctrl -)
  
  Safari for Mac OSX
  From the Safari menu, select Preferences > Appearance
  To change the standard font or fixed-width font used in pages, click the appropriate Select button.
  Change the font size using the slider bar.
  
  W3C Compliance
  This web site conforms to level A of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0, including all Priority 1 checkpoints defined in the Guidelines. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 are the industry standard guidelines for making web content accessible to people with disabilities.
