  Having a brewery as our parent company has lots of advantages - and one we're particularly keen on is that Daniel Thwaites own James Pickup & Co Wine and Spirit Merchants. Established in 1790 and purveyors of fine wines ever since, they are our exclusive wine supplier.
  
  The wonderful thing about having our own wine merchants is that the list has no bounds, and when we find a fantastic wine to share we can easily access it. Similarly, as we deal direct with the grower in many instances, we're able to offer top quality wines at a competitive price.

  Our parent company Thwaites prides itself on brewing beers with just that right balance of flavours and great taste ensuring the last taste of beer is as good as the first.

  • Daniel's
    Daniel's is a beer created with both men and women in mind. With its distinctive blonde colour, it has a refreshing bite on the palate with a lingering smooth, full-bodied taste.
    
    
  • Wainwright
    Named after Alfred Wainwright the renowned Lakeland author who was born in Blackburn in 1907. Wainwright is a great thirst quenching beer and has a wonderful bright, blonde colour in the glass and delicate fruit flavours, which appeals to both men and women alike. Utterly drinkable!
    
    
  • Warsteiner
    Warsteiner is made with the forest’s spring water, two row malted barley and all German Hops which gives the beer a smooth, full-bodied taste, a refreshing hop finish with no aftertaste.
